Terms of use

These terms apply to the Bark2Play app for Android and iOS and to the website bark2play.com. The service is provided by DARKO VUJIČIĆ PREDUZETNIK UNGASOFT BEOGRAD, Kumodraška 342, Belgrade, Serbia ("we"). By creating an account, you accept these terms. How we process data is explained in the Privacy policy.

1. What Bark2Play is

Bark2Play helps dog owners meet in the park: it shows your buddies' playtime and playtime nearby on a map, and lets you plan playdates, share playtime photos and warn others about hazards. The app is free.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the app.
  • You sign in with a Google or Apple account and are responsible for who has access to that account and to your phone.
  • One person, one account. Don't pretend to be someone else.
  • Information about dogs should be accurate and about dogs you look after.

3. Rules of conduct

In the app you may not:

  • harass, threaten, insult or follow other users, including using their location for anything other than playing together;
  • post false hazard warnings or deliberately false reports about users;
  • post photos or texts that are illegal, offensive or violent, or photos of other people without their consent;
  • post commercial messages, sell animals or send unsolicited messages;
  • collect data automatically, get around the map or request limits, or try to disrupt the service or someone else's account.

If you come across such behavior, report the user or photo in the app.

4. Your photos and texts

The photos, captions and notes you post remain yours. By posting them, you give us a non-exclusive, free right to store, process (for example scale down) and display them in the app to the people they are meant for, until you or we delete them. Only post what you have the right to post.

5. Meetups and dogs

  • We don't verify users or dogs. You decide whom to meet and where; a public place is best.
  • You are responsible for your dog: vaccinations, leash and behavior towards people and other dogs, in line with the rules where you are.
  • Hazard warnings are reported by users and we don't verify them. Use them as a help, not as your only source; if you suspect poisoning, contact a vet immediately, and report the hazard to the local authorities too.
  • Location, distance and time in the app may be inaccurate, because they depend on your phone and network.

6. Moderation

We review reports and may remove content, end a playtime or block an account that breaks these terms, if necessary without prior notice. A blocked account can't sign in.

7. Availability

We do our best to keep the app running without interruption, but we can't guarantee it. We may change, add or remove features. The maps in the app are provided by Google (Android) and Apple (iOS) under their own terms; Google Maps is subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service. If you download the app from the App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage resulting from meetings and interactions between users and their dogs, from content posted by other users or from the service being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights under consumer protection law.

9. Ending use

You can delete your account in the app at any time (Profile → Account and settings → Delete account). If you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, we may block or delete your account.

10. Changes to these terms

When we change these terms, we publish the new version here with the date of the change. We'll tell you about important changes in advance, by email or in the app. If you don't agree with the changes, you can delete your account.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Serbia. If you are a consumer living in another country, you keep the protection given to you by the mandatory laws of that country.
